Dr. Nura Abujbara D.M.D
General Dentist
Hi, I’m Dr. Nura Abujbara, and I believe that dentistry is more than just a profession—it’s a calling, a craft, and a way to serve my community. My journey in dentistry has been shaped by a deep love for learning, a passion for digital innovation, and a commitment to providing accessible, high-quality care to all.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida before continuing my education at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where I received my Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree. Since then, I have dedicated myself to expanding my knowledge and skills to provide my patients with the best possible care. I am Invisalign®- certified, Botox®-certified, and Conscious Sedation-certified, and I completed the AIC Hiossen Implant Master Course to further my expertise in implant dentistry.
My true dental education, however, came from hands-on experience volunteering at FreeD.O.M. and RAM, where I had the opportunity to provide essential dental care to underserved communities. These experiences taught me the real impact of dentistry—not just in fixing teeth but in restoring confidence, relieving pain, and changing lives.
For the past two years, I have worked extensively in pediatric dentistry, treating children of all ages, as well as providing general, adult, and geriatric dental care. I love working with patients of all backgrounds and am fluent in Arabic and English, which allows me to connect with a diverse range of people and make sure they feel comfortable and understood in the dental chair.
Beyond my work in dentistry, I am also yoga-certified, which helps me maintain a sense of calmness, balance, and level-headedness in the often fast-paced and high-energy dental environment. I strive to bring that same sense of ease and comfort to my patients, ensuring they feel relaxed and cared for throughout their treatment.
I have a deep love for nature and animals, especially my cats, who are a big part of my life. When I’m not in the office, you’ll often find me tending to my garden, which brings me a sense of peace and connection to the natural world. My love for animals and the environment is reflected in my approach to dentistry—gentle, thoughtful, and always with the patient’s well-being in mind.
My passion lies in digital dentistry, which I believe is the key to providing more efficient, precise, and affordable care. Embracing cutting-edge technology allows me to minimize treatment times, improve accuracy, and make dentistry more accessible to my patients.
Outside of dentistry, I love traveling with my husband, reading, exercising, cycling, playing volleyball, crocheting, and woodworking. My husband and I are a team in life and in practice, and we’ve built Terrace Community Dental with the vision of creating a warm, welcoming space where patients feel like family. Our goal is to bring hospitality to a scene of pain and need, ensuring that every patient who walks through our doors receives not just great dental care, but also kindness, trust, and compassion.
I look forward to meeting you, getting to know your story, and working together to achieve your healthiest, happiest smile.
